Veterinarian Overview
Celeste Treadway is the owner of Lakeline Animal Care. She is a 1990 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She began her career in a busy 24-hour hospital in Massachusetts, where she saw a large caseload of general and emergency cases. In 1992 she moved to Austin, where she worked for four years in general practice and as a relief veterinarian. In 1996 she joined the staff of the Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin, where she worked full time as an emergency doctor and served as medical director. During this time she also helped establish the first animal blood bank in Central Texas (Texas Animal Blood Bank). In August 2002, she joined Dr.Tom Sutton at Lakeline Animal Care, and purchased the practice from him in June 2006. Dr.Treadway's areas of special interest are emergency/critical care medicine, and feline medicine. Dr. Treadway and her husband, Harry Leuzinger, live in Leander and have two children, two grandchild, two very spoiled cats (Sam and Maggie), and The Best Golden Retriever in the World (Austen). Their son Brian is a Texas A & M graduate and works for the city of Austin as a Park Ranger. Their daughter Maria is a senior at Cedar Park High School, and will be attending University of Puget Sound starting fall of 2016 (she doesn't want to be an Aggie, but will still be wearing maroon!) When not working at the clinic, Dr.Treadway enjoys boating with her family on Lake Travis, hiking, yoga, and watching wildlife from her front porch.
